The Kenyan singer and founder of Mugithi dance is dead, salim junior died on Friday at Nakuru memorial hospital where he was battling a very serious disease.
Salim Junior, whom many people thought was a muslim,was just an humble son from a Kikuyu family. His name Salim was given by his father as his stage name so that he could sound unique.
Junior was famous known as one man guitar, because of his talent of playing the instrument. He was the only famous Kikuyu musician and has left a legacy. He will surely be missed by many.rumor say that, junior died of cardiac arrest.
